The team graduated ten employees from the Prime Academy housekeeping course in July, and are currently preparing for the next course in September. The programme involved four days of theoretical training with lectures and presentations concluding with a written exam as well as three days of practical on-site training to put newly learnt principles into practice.
Prime Academy was established in 2021, to offer more in depth training in catering, housekeeping, administration, QHSE, facilities management and maintenance to our staff than was available within Iraq. All Prime Academy attendees are PSGS employees nominated by their Camp Managers; the Academy serves as a pipeline for promotion to supervisory positions and to identify candidates for further development.
